Under the Weather
Pairing: Sylus x Fem|Reader
Prompt: Mini fic of Reader being a soft!dom with the lads. (Not necessarily sexual, just sweet 'let me take care of you' vibes)
Word count: 1k
Links to the other lads: (Rafayel) (Xavier) (Zayne)
“Miss! You have to come over right away! He won’t listen to anyone else we fear. Please come as soon as you can!” Was the message that Luke and Kieran had left on your phone. Panicked that Sylus was doing something stupid and reckless, even for him, you sped over to the N109 zone as fast as you could.
You pulled up to the mansion and rushed inside. “Luke, Kieran, what is it? What’s going on with Sylus?”
“He’s back in his bedroom,” Luke said, “He won’t let us in.”
“But what happened?”
“You just need to see for yourself. Please, you’re our only hope.” Kieran ushered you back to Sylus’s bedroom.
You were scared about what you may end up finding on the other side of that door. Whatever Sylus was doing that had the twins this concerned couldn’t be good. You took a deep breath and knocked. “Sylus? Are you in there?”
“Go away.” he called through the door but he didn’t sound right.
“Not a chance, babe.” you opened the door but didn’t immediately see him. “Sylus?”
“I said to go away.” you turned toward the bathroom and found your boyfriend sitting on the floor, his face pressed against the seat of the toilet. When he saw you he groaned. “I told them not to call you.”
“Are you…are you sick?” you knelt down next to him and felt his forehead. “Oh god, Sylus, you’re burning up.”
“It’s just a cold. I’m fine.”
“Uh huh, just a cold. That’s why you’re in here hovering over the toilet.” you rolled your eyes. “Have you even taken any medicine?”
His frown deepened. “For the love of--” you stood up and rifled through his cabinets and pulled out some fever and flu medicine. “Take these.” you put the pills in his hand and got him a cup of water. “Drink.”
He must not have had the energy to fight you because he did as you commanded without even a little pushback. Any other time he was such a brat. This fever must be really hard on him. “Keep drinking, we don’t need you getting dehydrated.” you kept the cup to his lips, not stopping until he had drank everything.
“Thank you. I’ll be fine now.” he said.
“If you think you’re getting rid of me that easily you are sorely mistaken.” you grabbed a small hand towel and soaked it in cold water. You pressed it against his burning face and you saw the way he sighed in relief. “Honestly, I’m kind of surprised you can even get sick.”
“I’m just full of surprises.” he sighed. For someone who was already pale he looked positively pallid now.
“Come on, let’s get you to the bed.” you helped pull him to his feet, taking it slow so his legs didn’t give out underneath him. As gently as you could you set him back down on the bed and pressed the cool towel to his forehead. You then grabbed a trash can and set it next to the bed just in case he had to puke.
“My poor guy,” you grabbed another towel and started wiping away the sweat on his neck. “Why didn’t you tell me you weren’t feeling well?”
“I was handling it.” he said.
“Very poorly. If you weren’t already sick I’d punish you for taking such poor care of yourself.” you sat next to him on the bed. “You don’t need to be embarrassed about needing help, Sylus. If I was sick and I tried to hide it from you, how would you react?”
He closed his eyes. “I’d say you were an idiot.”
“Exactly. And now, I don’t want to have to take advantage of a sick person but desperate times call for desperate measures. Until you are feeling well again I am in charge of you. Understood?”
A breath of a chuckle left him. “Yes, kitten.”
“Good. Have you tried eating anything yet today?”
“Been a bit preoccupied.”
“Got it. Be right back.” you went out to the kitchen and started rifling through the cabinets, finding some instant oatmeal and bananas. You assured Luke and Kieran that you had Sylus well in hand and that they didn’t need to worry about him. They both looked relieved. They cared about their boss so much, it was cute.
You also quickly brewed some tea and brought the tray of food back to his room. “This should be easy enough on your stomach.” you set the tray down on the bed and spooned some oatmeal up. “Open.”
“Feeding me now?”
“If you want to do it yourself--” he cut you off by licking the spoon clean. “That’s better.”
You kept feeding him bites of oatmeal and giving him sips of tea until some of the color started to return to his face. “Looks like the medicine is finally starting to kick in.” you replaced the cloth on his forehead for a fresh one. “Feeling any better?”
“Much. But I don’t know how much the medicine had to do with it.” he grazed your hand.
“The medicine helped plenty, but I’ll happily take the rest of the credit.” you reclined next to him, tucking yourself against his side. “I was really worried when the twins called me.”
“Apologies, kitten. I didn’t want to worry you.”
“I’m your girlfriend, it’s in my nature to worry.” you rested a hand against his chest, feeling his heartbeat under your palm. “Next time you’re feeling poorly, tell me. Okay?”
“Okay.” he closed his eyes. “I rather like having you fret over me. My kitten takes charge so gently. You can’t help being sweet, even when you’re being bossy.”
“I’d rather you do as I say because you want to rather than because I forced you. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, as the saying goes. Or in this case I guess I’m catching crows.” you poked his chest. “Now get some rest, I’ll be right here by your side.”
“What if I get you sick?”
“Then we’ll be sick together and have to rely on Luke and Kieran to take care of us.” you chuckled. “But I wouldn’t worry about it. Just rest.”
“Fine.” he looped an arm around you, keeping you close to him. “And thank you.” he murmured before finally falling asleep.
You kissed his cheek. “Anything for you, my love.”

Accidents happen
Pairings: Natasha x you
Words: 1891
Warnings: bed wetting? Idk.
Summary: Natasha has an accident due to how sick she is. It’s up to you to convince her there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. (Requested)
Notes: This is bordering on age regression. I don’t know if this topic is controversial, but if it is and you’re offended, please don’t read. It’s absolutely nothing detailed. Just fluff. Thank you.

You let out a soft exhale through your nose as you tenderly trail the pad of your thumb over the warm, soft skin of Natasha's cheek. The red head was laying on her side, fast asleep as hoarse, crackly breaths escape her chapped lips. She'd been sick for three days now, and it appeared as though she was no closer to getting better despite the amount of medicine she'd been taking.
It was way past the generic cold now. You knew that. Sure it had started that way. A light fever. A runny nose and cough. Nothing Natasha hadn't dealt with before and you knew for a fact had you not caught her mid sneezing fit just yesterday, she probably wouldn't have even told you she was feeling under the weather and would have toughed it out until she was better.
But that wasn't the case now.
Said cold had transpired into what you could only guess was one of the worst cases if the flu you'd ever seen. She was seriously congested. She had a pretty severe migraine and even her stomach had joined in on the fun leaving her unable to eat anything.
A particularly hoarse breath from Natasha brings you out of your thoughts, and you flicker your eyes up to see her face scrunched up in discomfort. You frown slightly as you lean forward to press a soft kiss to her forehead, your hands lingering on her face for a moment longer before you decided it was best to try another tactic.
"Shhh, you're okay," you attempt to sooth as you slip your arm beneath her side and gently coax her tired body into your arms.
She was remarkably easy to direct, settling against your chest with a wet cough as her hands reach up to cling to your hoodie. She seems to instinctively wipe her dripping nose onto the material too, and though you roll your eyes fondly, you knew a tissue would be much better suited for what she was trying to do.
Reaching back, you grab a few tissues from the box on your nightstand and make quick but gentle work of ridding the snot from her nose and cupids bow.
The feeling of the rough tissue against her sore, red tinged nose has Natasha's once again rousing, a pain filled whimper escaping her lips as she hides her face against your chest in a futile attempt at getting away from whatever was hurting her.
Not wanting to further her discomfort in any way, you abandon the task just half way through and toss the now soiled tissue into the trashcan.
With a soft sigh and a gentle kiss against her hairline, you slip a hand beneath her pyjama shirt and begin trailing your fingers over the too warm skin. "All done baby, you're okay." You murmur, giving the thigh that had come to rest across your stomach a soft, comforting squeeze.
In response, Natasha’s sleeping self lets out a hoarse, heavy sigh, her grasp loosening on your shirt as she once again slips into fitful sleep. With the knowledge you would be her pillow until another sneeze or cough inevitably woke her, you grab your phone from the nightstand and decide to kill some time scrolling through social media.
Your free hand continues to absentmindedly trace over her back, up to the nape of her neck and down to just above her underwear. Natasha seems to all hit melt into you, and you all but welcome her as close as she could possibly get. Before long, she was more or less on top of you, head tucked into the crook of your neck with her legs sprawled over your own.
You can’t help but pout softly at the action, pressing your lips in a tender kiss against the top of her head.
Soon, the sun outside disappears behind the clouds signalling that it was getting late. With the knowledge that it would soon be time for Natasha’s to take some more medicine, you place your phone down and slip both hands beneath her shirt. You graze the pads if your thumbs over her sides, craning your head and pressing your lips her forehead.
“Nat? It’s time to wake up baby.” You murmur, lightly tapping the small of her back. Natasha remains still, her breath heavy against the skin of your neck.
You smile softly and reach down to give her behind a few firm pats, “Pumpkin? Wakey wakey.” You coo, affectionately grazing the tips of your fingers over the top of her underwear before bringing your hand back up to meet the other that was still resting on the middle of her back.
Natasha does no more than let out a soft whimper.
Your heart breaks at the sound, but before you could even continue trying to wake her, a sudden wetness begins seeping into the material of your pyjama bottoms. A frown of confusion slips onto your lips at the sensation, and you lift the covers slightly to see that a sudden wet spot had appeared on both your shirt and pants.
You couldn’t see the front of Natasha’s body, but you had a funny feeling that if you could, the same sight would greet you there too.
She’d had an accident.
“Oh baby…” you trail off sympathetically as you let go of the blankets, allowing them to conceal you both again as you hug her body close to you and let out a soft sigh. You didn’t know what to do.
If you woke her, you had no idea just how she’d react. This had never happened before. Why would it? Natasha was a grown woman. But she’d never been this sick before either. Could that be the reason? Could someone be so sick they could have an accident without even realising it?
Knowing you had to wake her either way, you let out a deep sigh and prepare yourself to do just that.
Keeping your hold around her tight, you adjust her legs to settle either side of your hips and sit yourself up. She was straddling you now, but you didn’t think she was completely asleep. Her hands were gripping the back of your shirt, and you could feel her eyelashes fluttering against your neck.
“Nat?” You ask tentatively, bringing a hand down to rest on the small of her back. The red head lets out a heavy sigh as she forces her eyes open, and as soon as she realises her current predicament, she freezes in your arms.
“It’s okay,” you were quick to sooth, tightening your hold around her so she didn’t bolt. “It was just an accident. Everyone has them. It’s nothing to be ashamed about I promise.”
Natasha’s shoulders begin to shake, and you feel her let out a choked sob. Despite the tears, you were thankful because you’d rather this than her bolting and shutting you out.
You nuzzle your nose into her neck and press a soft kiss to the warm skin as your hands once again slip beneath her shirt, hoping the skin on skin contact would help sooth her.
“You’re sick baby,” you murmur into her ear, “It’s not your fault. I’m not mad. Or upset. It was just an accident. They happen to everyone. You’re okay.”
Natasha sniffles as her body shudders with the force of her sobs, and you pull her just that bit closer, your own eyes burning with tears. “It’s okay. You’re okay. I’ve got you.”
It takes a little while, but soon, her sobs turn into soft sniffles, and you give her one last squeeze before placing a hand on either of her sides before attempting to ease her away from you. Natasha resists as she coughs wetly, and you quietly shush her as you pull her body back to your own.
She wasn’t ready to face you yet, and that was okay.
“Take all the time you need.” Was all you say as you secure your arms back around her waist, attempting to ignore the once warm wetness that had long gone cold against you.
You begin to hum softly as you rock her body back and forth in your arms, the corners of your lips quirking up into a smile when feel her begin to relax against you.
After a few moments, you once again attempt to ease her away from you, and this time, she allows it. Her cheeks, you notice, were red with both her fever and embarrassment, and she was seemingly unable to meet your eyes. You reach up to cup her face and place a gentle kiss to her nose.
“It’s okay pumpkin,” you murmur, smiling slightly when her hands come up to rest over your own. They were trembling slightly, and you adjust your thumbs so you could trial the pad of then over the backs of her hands.
“We don’t have to talk about it if that makes you uncomfortable. Let’s just get you cleaned up, okay?”
Natasha nods as a single tear track slips down her cheek, and you tenderly wipe it away before coaxing her chest back against own. She complies without hesitation, and you secure your other arm around the small of her back before rising to your feet and carrying her into the bathroom.
Despite the fact that slipping a hand beneath her behind would make it easier to hold her up, you refrain from doing so in fear it would only embarrass her further. Instead, you hold her as close as you possibly could to you in hopes that would be enough.
You reach behind the glass shower door to turn on the water before lightly squeezing her thigh as a silent request for her to let you go. She does, but she was still seemingly unable to meet your eyes.
With the knowledge that she may need some time to get over this, you allow her to do whatever she needed to be comfortable.
“Can I help you?” You question as you reach up to gently brush a sweaty strand of hair away from her face, tucking it behind her ear.
“Yes please.” She pleads, her voice raspy. You press your lips against her forehead in a soft kiss before placing your hands on the bottom of her shirt and tugging it up and off of her body. Left in just her wet underwear, her cheeks flush red again, and you bend down and hook your fingers into the top before pulling them down.
She steps out of them with a trembling hand on your shoulder for balance, and you press an affectionate kiss to her hipbone before returning upright and making quick work of removing your own clothes.
Figuring that the water was now hot enough, you slip an arm around her waist to guide her in, yourself following shortly.
“There we go,” you murmur as she all but falls into your arms, arms tight around your waist and head against your chest tucked perfectly beneath your chin. You return the embrace without hesitation, cupping the back of her head and rocking her slightly back and forth.
“There we go.”

I hope you all enjoyed ♥️

Sometimes I wish I was sick, I told Frankie.
He swooped his eyelashes at me like a cartoon, trying to get my attention.
Sick? He asked. Like the flu?
A desperate, kneeling sort of flu. Something without a cure. A blindness so that I would have to move through the world in black stasis. A miracle to be outside. A miracle to hold my face against the sunlight. I want to be surprised again.
He played with the beads in the carpet. He wasn’t sure what there was to say, how to respond. He never knew how to respond to me.
When I heard from him next I was on the way to the laundromat, hauling a large bag of dirty clothes on my back like a wise traveling person. The bag made a funny looking shadow against the sidewalk. I placed the bag down and answered his call.
Hello? I asked, annoyed that he had interrupted my stride. I had been in the middle of an execution of action. I was moving down the street at a fast and urgent pace, unthinking. He had yanked me out of that speed.
When can I see you? He asked.
I could imagine him in his apartment laying on the couch, cracking his knuckles and fiddling with his sock. I thought for a moment.
I can come over later on, I said. Around nine.
And indeed, I arrived at nine. I was in a good mood. I spent the day cleaning, moving in grand sweeps and motions. I was wearing his tee shirt. I suppose I loved him. I was twenty seven and worked at a spa, rubbing the backs of people who needed to be touched, who were absolutely starved of feeling.
I warmed my hands with hot honey and talked in a low voice about knots, what the knots meant and how to get rid of them. The people listened from their positions on the bench, lost in the coddle of towels and sweat. They hardly heard me at all. It was a beautiful thing. I was an angel, a distant light in their periphery vision. It was mindless, kind work and I was proud to do it.
Frankie worked at a law firm, numbers, spreadsheets, buckets of data. This did not interest me. Once, I asked what his favorite number was. I was trying to glean something out of him. Some sort of illicit pleasure. What was in his mind?
Thirty one, he answered.
Good, I said. Good.
That night, we fucked and he made me some green tea afterward. This is how we moved.

Title: Rule No. 1
Chapter 3
Seonghwa blinked, trying to process what Hongjoong had just asked him. He swallowed his food and burst out laughing, shaking his head. "You're kidding me, Joong. What did he say?"
"Hwa ... I'm serious, if you don't believe me, call him and ask him yourself." Hongjoong spoke and took the plate from Seonghwa because his expression was changing into one of disbelief and fear. He set the plate down and pulled him into a soothing hug. "We don't know anything yet. Let's not jump to conclusions. Do you have one or want me to get one?"
"I don't have any .. I mean, Joongie... you are an angel and I am a vampire. That shouldn't be possible at all. It's probably just a flu or something?" But Seonghwa's voice didn't sound very confident. He didn't seem to believe himself. Hongjoong kissed his head and stood up.
"I'll go get one from the supermarket around the corner. Do you need anything else?" Even though, the vampire was scared, he was eyeing the pizza and clicked his tongue. Hongjoong couldn't help but chuckle and nodded, understanding. There was a pizza restaurant on the way. It also took off his mind a little. After all he thought the same as Seonghwa but San had been certain. He pressed another kiss on his lips and walked towards the door, taking one of Seonghwa's scarfs to hide his bite marks. No one would notice that he was an archangel but he rather played safe than risk anything. "I'll be quick, babe."
Seonghwa hummed and tried to calm himself down with the leftover slice of Hongjoong's pizza. He was the heir of their family business, Hongjoong had his own duties to take care of. His family was going to kill him. How would he explain this to his parents and moreover tell them who the father was. He couldn't even lie and say it was a one night stand because if he was really pregnant with Hongjoong's child, he'd never be able to get rid of it as his parents would demand. Although keeping it would be a huge risk and were they even mature enough to raise a child? He didn't even question whether Hongjoong would raise it with him because he was 100% sure that he would. But he knew that Hongjoong was worrying about his health, about the people around them to find out and his safety.
After finishing the pizza, he stood up with a sigh and filled a bottle with water. He'd empty it by the time Hongjoong got back. He wanted to get over with it fast. By the time, the scent of pizza filled his nostrils, Seonghwa had finished half if the bottle, though. His throat went dry as Hongjoong came through the door and he quickly took a few more gulps. He was feeling the need to use the toilet already, good.
"Hwa, sweetheart, I'm back. Did you know there are pregnancy tests especially for vampires? Apparently you guys need more sensitive tests." Hongjoong explained with surprise in his voice and put the pizza on the table - he got a huge one. Who was supposed to eat this monster? He was also holding a decent bag which Seonghwa just had to snatch away. When he looked inside, he saw at least 5 pregnancy tests, chocolate, tissues, his favourite face masks and candles. He looked at his boyfriend with a quivering bottom lip.
"To make sure the result is right. No matter what the result is, some chocolate for comfort, human food seems fine for you today so you will experience comfort food. Tissues in case you need to cry, I wasn't sure if you still had some at home. Your favourite face mask to make you relax and some candles for the mood." Hongjoong explained and was attacked with a tight hug. He coughed dramatically and cleared his throat. "I love you, too, Hwa but that's a little too tight."
Seonghwa quickly let go and tried to say something but the lump in his throat was too big, so he pointed to his throat and made an x sign with his fingers. Instead he cupped Hongjoong's face and kissed his lips to show him his gratitude. Then he took one of the tests and pulled Hongjoong with him. He stopped at the kitchen to get a paper cup and then walked to the bathroom.
"Let me give you some privacy, babe." Hongjoong spoke softly as he stopped in front of the bathroom. They didn't mind being in the bathroom together when one of them had to pee but this felt kind of intimate? Seonghwa pouted but nodded before entering and closing the door behind him. He did his business into the cup and dipped the pregnancy test before placing it on the sink and getting rid of the liquid and the paper cup. It wasn't his first pregnancy test. Now they had to wait for 3 minutes.
"Everything alright in there?" Hongjoong asked and Seonghwa opened the door. He nodded and had a worried expression on his face as he hugged his boyfriend and exhaled deeply. Hongjoong kissed his neck gently. "No matter what, I'll stay with you, Seonghwa."
"I want pizza ... I'm still hungry ..." Seonghwa whispered with a raspy voice and Hongjoong had to hold back his laughter. They could as well spend the waiting time with food. He pulled Seonghwa back to the living room and sat down on th sofa, pulling him in his lap. He opened the pizza box and took a slice to feed the vampire. Why did it look so adorable with his big eyes and those fangs when he ate, though? Hongjoong took a slice as well and ate happily, he had been hungry since he left but he didn't want to tell Seonghwa, not wanting him to feel guilty for eating the rest of his pizza.
The arch angel had almost forgotten about the test because he was so busy eating and feeding his vampire if it wasn't for the latter tugging on his shirt after they were half through the pizza. Hongjoong swallowed and stood up with him ro go back to the bathroom. Seonghwa looked at him, wanting the other to check instead of himself. The archangel gave him a reassuring smile and nodded, stepping inside to take a look. His heart was pounding in his chest and he felt as if someone was suffocating him. Was he going to become a dad?
Hongjoong came out, chewing on his lips as he looked down and had his hands behind his back. He looked at Seonghwa and tilted his head, seemingly unsure what to express. Then his lips curled up into a smile and he held the pregnancy test up for Seonghwa to see. "We are going to be parents!"
Seonghwa's mouth stood agape and tears burnt in his eyes which caused Hongjoong's expression to change. He looked at him worriedly and was about to say something as the vampire hugged him tightly and started sobbing into his shoulder. "A-are we even ready to t-take care of a mini version of us?"
Hongjoong exhaled a deep breath that he didn't know he had held. He was already afraid that Seonghwa might not want to keep the pregnancy. Of course, there was a lot to discuss and prepare, but the image of a mini Seonghwa running around them was adorable. "Why shouldn't we? Yes, we are still young but there is never the perfect timing. We can do that and you will be a wonderful mom."
"You think so?" Seonghwa sniffed and looked at his boyfriend with teary eyes. Hongjoong looked at him so lovingly that he was about to burst into a new set of tears and then he even kissed his lips that were wet with tears. How did he find this amazing man? The archangel nodded and placed another kiss on his lips and then on both of his cheeks, his forehead and even his wet nose, which made Seonghwa cringe. "Joongie... I cried like a baby just now, that's disgusting."
"Hwa ... are you serious? I even sit next to you and hold your hair when you throw up. I think we are past that stage." Hongjoong chuckled and the vampire just grumbled something under his breath. "Let me call San for an appointment. I trust him but he doesn't know that you are my boyfriend. I didnt want too many people to know, it's risky."
Seonghwa nodded and broke the hug, following Hongjoong back to the living room where they sat down. While Hongjoong made the phone call, the vampire grabbed a slice of pizza and took his phone to dial Minho's phone number. Hongjoong hung up after 2 minutes and nodded.
"We can visit right away. His clinic is half an hour by taxi. Wanna eat up and then leave?" Seonghwa nodded, chewing happily on his slice. He was amazed and happy that he was able to eat this delicious stuff. Hongjoong smiled wide and patted his head gently. It was so cute to see him like that. They should focus on the positive things for now. Hongjoong would worry about their parents later.
When Seonghwa was filled they both got ready to leave. Hongjoong adjusted the scarf to hide his bite marks and checked his hair, while Seonghwa checked his full appearance in the mirror, especially if he had put on any weight already. "Babe, you're handsome and beautiful the way you are and no, you did not gain weight yet. Even if you do, there is nothing that can damage your beauty."
Seonghwa looked at him with a straight face but he could see tears threatening to spill and he quickly hugged the vampire and spread tiny kisses over his face. "No, no, no. Don't cry, my little bunny. I will shut up, okay?"
"It's just so much today. I'm pregnant and then you are here, my way too amazing boyfriend and I do believe you every single word when you say such things. They are not just to make me feel better and I'm just so grateful to have you." Seonghwa rambled quickly and squeezed Hongjoong lightly before letting go and wiping his tiny tears. "Let's go."
"Oh, wait- I forgot to give Minho a call." Seonghwa fished his phone out and called their friend. "Minho-yah~ I'm sorry, I'll have to cancel dinner. I'm on my way to the doctor with Hongjoongie... oh nothing serious, I will tell you guys when I'm back... yes, talk to you later."
"I already called a taxi, should be here in 5 minutes according to the app." Hongjoong smiled and took Seonghwa's hand as they left the apartment together. Both of them had a strange but positive feeling in their belly.
Half an hour later the couple arrived in front of the private clinic and San was already waiting for them at the entrance. The doctor bowed lightly and gave Hongjoong a handshake. He was well-built with wide shoulders and a buff chest and arms. He had sharp facial features and wore a pair of black framed glasses. "You're lucky, I have a free spot. The clinic was packed today, you wouldn't believe it."
"Good for u- my friend's boyfriend. He's been sick for a few days, can't drink blood packs but suddenly can eat human food. The test was very clear but we thought its better to get it checked out by a professional." Hongjoong and Seonghwa had agreed to keep their relationship a secret in front of the doctor even though he was Hongjoong's friend. "My friend had to take care of his sick mother that's why I offered to accompany Seonghwa."
Hongjoong gritted his teeth as he got elbowed by his boyfriend who gave him a subtle death glare. Okay, maybe that was a bit too much. They followed San to one of the rooms, passing a few couples on the way who appeared to be expecting as well. San was running a gynaecological clinic and seemingly seeing anyone regardless of race - seemed like a good guy.
They entered the room and San closed the door, signaling Seonghwa to take a seat next to the ultra sound. He disinfected his hands and took a pair of gloves as he sat next to Seonghwa who laid down and cleared his throat as he lifted his shirt, revealing his toned stomach. Hongjoong sat on a chair at the end of the doctor's couch and looked at his boyfriend with pursed lips. San didn't say much so far and put the cold gel on Seonghwa's stomach. The vampire didn't flinch at all.
"Okay, let's see what we have here. You said these symptoms are running for a few days? Nothing unusual before that?" San asked while checking the screen and moving the ultrasound device. Seonghwa shook his head no. "Found the sweethearts. Let me see which week you are. Since you are a very athletic and toned man, it may take a while until you will actually start showing. But if you feed them well, they might grow in no time as well. No excessive sports from now on. Some light training to keep in shape isn't wrong or harmful, though."
"Th-them?" It came in unison from both Seonghwa and Hongjoong and Seonghwa stared with wide eyes and an open mouth at his boyfriend. San looked at them with a smile and nodded. He pointed to the two little strawberry sized embryos on the screen.
"I assume it is about the 10th week. Two babies, it's very clear. Congrats on parenthood. But Hongjoong, I will be honest with you ... I never had a mixed race pregnancy in this clinic before and I also don't know of any case of angel and vampire ..." San sighed as he looked at him and then at Seonghwa. "I suggest you to be careful and listen to what your body says. Closely. It will know best what your babies need. About the gender, I can't tell yet, they are not in the right position."
"How ..." Hongjoong started but San just smiled at him. So they had been obvious. "We didn't want many people to know about us. I hope you understand. But ... this pregnancy can't be dangerous for Hwa, right? He can drink my blood, he's only getting sick from blood packs, not from my blood."
"Don't worry, you two. I need to protect my own kind, right?" San expanded his fangs for a moment for Seonghwa to see who visibly relaxed. "We can't control our love and even I can feel your deep connection with each other. Those rules reach far back into the past and we have to become more modern. I'm sure this is also a reason why you were able to get pregnant, Seonghwa."
San handed Seonghwa some tissues to wipe himself clean and rolled aside with his chair so Hongjoong could sit beside his boyfriend. He watched them hug and whisper things to each other, his own face adorned by a bright smile. "I'll have you registered as my patient and list the father as unknown as precaution. I don't want you to be at risk. I do trust my employees but better be safe than sorry."
The couple looked at San with a smile but teary eyes. Hongjoong spoke up for them. "Thank you. I don't know what to say."
"No need to. Seeing you two looking forward to become parents is why I love this job." San spoke and his voice sounded sincere. "Seonghwa, I'll prescribe you some vitamins and other supplements. If you notice any side effects, give me a call. Hongjoong has my private phone number. If you two need protection at some point because you think you are in danger, I have connections and vacation apartments here and there."
"Thank you so much." Seonghwa spoke and sniffed softly at so much love they received. He placed a hand in his stomach and looked at Hongjoong. They didn't expect two at all, but they would manage it nevertheless.

Hey Ray, how are you? I've read about your flu recently. I'm very sorry and I hope you get better soon. Have a fast recovery, ok?
Regarding confessions, I have nothing much to say. I think other anons already mentioned lots of valid points. Sure- porn fics are obv exaggerated, characters get mischaracterized and ships get pushed down out throats all the time but hey, that's just an average fandom experience, right?
So I'm trying to ignore/filter all the negativity and allow only good, quality content on my dash. Unfortunately, the content is few and not many appreciate writers and artists here on Tumblr. So it's for the best if they'd just change platforms and try their luck somewhere else that offers more positive interaction/involvement. I miss Tumblr reblog culture and nice feedback on dif stories/art. Nothing is the same anymore...
Regarding mischaracterization- it's not a problem to headcanon things, in fact, to each their own. But it's a problem when people openly accept headcanon as canon and unapologetically fight others over inaccurate opinions. It's so beyond me. And the funniest thing- it's mostly minors. Can we get rid of the minors in for-them-inappropriate fandom spaces pls? Tumblr staff where you at?
I noticed that fans of less popular characters are more fun. I'm not that big into Choso you see, but his fans made the whole fandom experience so much more enjoyable. And I don't think that Mahito fans are weird if you compare Toji smut fics (I'm not calling out people but I'm calling out people). Sukuna fans I'm looking at you too...
I'm forever grateful for Nanami, Higuruma, Kusakabe and Shiu quartet. Gege, thank you for feeding us while it lasted. The fics are divine and I understand why Shoko didn't see the appeal in stsg, like girl I get you.
I'll come out and say it- stsg is overrated. And jjk girls deserve more content that isn't ship-oriented.
I think Gege needs to make up his mind because Yuta and Yuji can't exist as two mains at once. Everyone is taking away Yuji's spotlight, but they're dying and dying until nobody's left except Yuji... I don't know how jjk will end.
I miss Yuki and Todo's dynamic and all the funny stuff, I wish jjk was a comedy fr... Gege is writing an idol manga after this one so I can't wait for the things he has in store for us!
Hello! Thank you for your concern about my cold. Honestly, with all of you wishing me to get better, I'm recovering a little faster! 💜💜💜
I agree with mischaracterization, but imo, unless a mangaka explicitly states something, then a fictional character is always subject to having HC's being formed about them depending on the writer. What gets problematic though, is when fans of a writer start looking at those HC's as an actual canon, and now they're picking fights/sending hate to other creators who have different opinions.
Fans of less popular characters tend to be more chill from what I've seen. They just want to talk about their faves and have a good time, and are less bothered with what could be canon or not. They have their HC's and are open to hearing different ones too.
I feel like JJK gave us this genre of 'tired men in suits' which is very appealing, even to us older girlies who are in the same age range as these men.
Stsg being overrated...imo I don't feel that way. I think they had great potential as a couple and I'm filled with sadness at the thought that they didn't catch Suguru's spiral when it happened. I can see them with heterosexual partners too, but I love the concept of Stsg.
The JJK women definitely need content not surrounding ships or smut. Something more action-related or just let her shine in her own right in a fic.
IDK what'll happen going forward...The story is supposed to center on Yuji but it feels like he's constantly being pushed aside. I hope things resolve soon but it looks like Sukuna might win after all this. I'm just sad thinking about it.
I miss the slice of life feel to the story as well but what can ya do...Gege is the mangaka, so he'll do what he wants. But if he brings back Nanami I ain't complaining lol.
Thank you for your confession!

How to Get Rid of a Cough Fast: Proven Remedies That Work

Coughing is a common reflex that helps clear the airways of irritants, mucus, and foreign particles. While it serves an important purpose, persistent or severe coughing can be uncomfortable and disruptive to daily life. Understanding the underlying causes of a cough is crucial for effective management and relief. Various factors, including infections, allergies, and environmental irritants, can contribute to the onset of a cough. In this essay, we will explore various methods to alleviate coughing quickly, from home remedies to over-the-counter medications. Additionally, we will discuss when it is necessary to seek medical attention and how to prevent future coughs from occurring. By gaining insight into these approaches, individuals can better navigate the challenges of dealing with a cough and improve their overall respiratory health.
Understanding Coughs
What is a Cough?
A cough is a reflex action that serves to clear the airways of irritants, mucus, or foreign particles. There are two main types of coughs: dry coughs, which do not produce mucus, and productive coughs, also known as wet coughs, which do. Coughing can arise from various causes, including infections, allergies, and environmental irritants. It plays a crucial role in maintaining respiratory health by protecting the lungs. While a cough can be a standalone condition, it is often a symptom of an underlying issue. Coughs can be categorized based on their duration, with acute coughs lasting less than three weeks and chronic coughs persisting longer. Understanding the underlying cause is essential for effective treatment and management.
Types of Coughs
Coughs can be classified into several types, each with distinct characteristics and causes. A dry cough, for instance, does not produce phlegm and is often triggered by irritants or allergies. In contrast, a wet cough generates mucus or phlegm and is frequently associated with respiratory infections. Chronic coughs persist for more than eight weeks and may signal underlying health issues, while acute coughs are short-lived, typically resolving within three weeks and often stemming from viral infections. Other notable types include barking coughs, which produce a harsh sound often seen in croup, and whooping cough, marked by severe hacking followed by a distinctive "whoop" sound. Lastly, a psychogenic cough occurs habitually without a medical explanation, often linked to stress. Understanding these types can aid in determining the appropriate treatment strategies.
Common Causes of Coughs
Coughing can be triggered by various factors, each stemming from different underlying causes. Viral infections, such as the common cold and flu, are among the most prevalent culprits. Bacterial infections like pneumonia and bronchitis can also lead to persistent coughing. Allergies to substances like pollen and dust mites, along with environmental irritants such as smoke and pollution, further contribute to this condition. Other causes include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), chronic respiratory diseases like asthma and COPD, and certain medications, such as ACE inhibitors. Additionally, postnasal drip, changes in weather, or dry air can exacerbate coughing, highlighting the diverse origins of this common symptom.

16.
Is it currently raining where you are?
No.
What’s something that you have been wanting to say to someone?
It wouldn't matter if I said it because that person doesn't care, so I don't see the point talking about it.
What’s your favorite thing to do at the end of the day?
Cuddle with Nip.
When did you last use a lighter or matches?
I never use a lighter or matches. I won't even light actual candles. I have a Scentsy warmer thing instead. I'm terrified of fire or the potential for fire if it's not something that's extremely well managed and contained.
Do you or anyone you know have covid or the flu?
I don't. A friend of my mum's had covid a while ago, but I don't know whether she's still dealing with it or any after effects or not.
Do you have a hard time letting things go?
I most definitely do.
What did you last have to eat?
A nature valley almond granola bar.
Are you allergic to anything that is unusual?
Just one specific medication. Nothing else.
When did you last feel fear?
I feel fear every single day over the way my life is turning upside down and my living situation is changing next year. I'm not looking forward to it at all.
What did you last drop?
Nippy's toy, so she could go fetch it.
Have you ever been to a Halloween themed amusement park?
No.
What’s something about your health that you would like to change?
I would get rid of my physical disability so that I'm able bodied. I would also eliminate chronic venous insufficiency, as well as how often I experience suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Maybe lighter, shorter menstrual cycles, too, though they're not near as awful or debilitating as they once were.
When did you last look in the mirror?
Last time I was washing my hands in the bathroom.
What color is your favorite shirt?
I have more than one favourite, but one of them is a heather grey sweatshirt with "Whitney Houston" in cool font and a bunch of different pictures of her on it.
What last made you smile?
Nippy. She's been loafing on my desk as I do this and pawed at me as I was typing to ask for a kiss. She paws at my arm, I look at her and say "what, baby?" And she either sticks her nose out for me to kiss it, or lightly puts it directly against my lips. 🥹🥰
Have you ever walked through a sunflower field?
No.
How often do you listen to music?
Every day, several hours a day. Music is life.
Are you a fan of Taylor Swift? What’s your favorite song from her?
I'm not, but she's my best friend's favourite, so I'm supportive of her passion for her music and familiar with quite a bit of it. I don't mind vigilante shit, I wish you would, and some stuff from her older albums.
Would you be happy if you got a lifetime supply of the last thing you purchased?
I bought a few things when I was in the city with Brittany this weekend, but the last out of those items that I ate was Doritos brand cool ranch jalapeño dip, so I'll go with that for this answer. I would be so happy if I got a lifetime supply of that. I never tried it before seeing it and buying it that day, but it's my new favourite thing. I'm obsessed with it.
What’s something great that has happened to you recently?
I got to go see Wicked on the weekend. I'd been looking forward to it for a while.
How old were you when you had your first best friend?
I was in third grade.
Do you believe that anything is infinite?
My love for my cat, the love/feelings I have for my girlfriend, my appreciation for Brittany.
What did you last order from a fast food restaurant?
I got a ten piece chicken nugget meal with a coke and some hot mustard dipping sauce from McDonald's on the way home from seeing Wicked.
How often do you have to purchase shampoo and conditioner?
Every couple months.
What was the last pain you’ve had on your body?
I screwed up my shoulder when I almost slipped and fell on ice in the parking lot transferring to Brittany's car on the way out to the movies. It's getting better, but it hurt a lot for a while. My feet are also sore and swollen, but they usually are, to varying degrees.
Is there anything currently bothering you?
The neighbour's dog incessant howling and whining at all hours of the day and night.
Would you ever paint your bedroom bright blue?
Blue is my favourite colour, but not likely.
What’s your favorite way to eat rice?
With butter, soya sauce and a can of flaked tuna mixed in, in sushi, in burritos, with Swedish meatballs on top of it, with chicken in it, in stir fry...So many ways. I love rice.
Do you currently have a window open?
Yeah. Our heating/cooling system is not balanced and absolutely fucked. It's way too hot for me in my apartment right now, so I opened the window a crack.
What kind of jacket do you like wearing most?
I literally never wear jackets. I went out with just a heavy sweater this weekend. Brittany always asks if I want to bring a coat, but I never bother. I'm not outside much this time of year, and not for very long. Outerwear and going through the motions of bundling up just genuinely pisses me off. I might wear gloves and a tuque, that's about it.
Do you own a sherpa blanket?
I own a couple really soft blankets, idk if they're actually sherpa, though.
Are you currently wearing something green?
Nope.
Have you recently lost something?
My freakin' mind.
What’s something that has really impacted your life?
Having Nippy. She's often one of the only things that gets me out of bed and sees me keep trying to get through the days. Sometimes I'm even hopeful and excited about things again because of her. She literally saved my life.
What scents can you currently smell?
Nothing.
What did you last have as a snack?
Before I ate that granola bar this morning, the last thing would have been some tortilla chips and that cool ranch jalapeño dip. I got it on Saturday, opened it yesterday and it's already gone, lmfao. I asked my cousin if she could find me more, potentially a Costco sized tub or package of the smaller tubs or something. Waiting to see what she says.
Are you currently listening to music?
No. I was listening to an episode of a podcast, but it ended.
Would you say you’re a strong person?
I've been told that by others, but I don't really feel that way.
What’s something you miss from the past?
Not much.
When did you last rush for something?
This weekend. I was hoping we wouldn't miss too much of the movie since I almost slipped and fell on ice and getting into Brittany's car and actually leaving my place took a lot longer than it usually does. I felt so bad about it and kept apologizing, but being the sweetheart that she is, Brittany was super understanding and kept telling me not to worry about it at all. That being late was much better than me being on my back in the parking lot half the day and getting hurt.
Do you require a lot of personal space or do you enjoy being around people often?
I enjoy being around people I've chosen to be around. I'm quite extroverted then, actually. But I do need time to recharge also.
Have you drank enough water today?
I drank a pot of coffee, if that counts as water intake, lmfao. I almost never drink a whole pot to myself. Usually only fill it to the halfway mark. More was necessary this morning, as I hadn't been able to sleep. I almost never drink enough actual water. Definitely not still water. Having unsweetened sparkling varieties around helps me do better with that, but I'm sure I still don't get near enough.
Do you like lima beans?
I do!
What was the last lie you told?
That I was good/fine when asked how I was, but didn't want to talk to that person about why I wasn't.
What did you last plug into an outlet?
My tablet.
Do you have anything due soon?
No.
How many bottles do you see from where you’re sitting?
One near empty Powerade bottle.
What was the last thing you took a picture of?
A screenshot of the dip I was asking my cousin to possibly pick up more of for me.

What to Expect During Your First Detox: A Beginner's Guide
If a detox sounds like a daunting task, we have some good news for you. It doesn’t have to be complicated. So, why would you even need to detox? Should your body handle that for you?
Unfortunately, in the world we live in, there are so many toxins that could be making you sick and ruining your health. Your body can’t always keep up with the demand. Think about how many chemicals you encounter before leaving your home each day. Once you realize how much your body gets exposed to, a healthy detox makes sense. In this article, we’ll review why you should detox and what you should expect during your first natural detox so you don’t get sidetracked by any of these common pitfalls.
Why should you detox?
We mentioned that you likely expose yourself to tons of toxins before leaving the house for work each day. That number can climb to the hundreds quickly. For one, think of the body wash and soaps you use and check out the ingredients. Many of these cause endocrine disruption and may increase the risks of cancer, asthma, and other serious health issues. (1)
The skin is your largest organ and gets exposed to the most toxins. Consider not only the soaps you use, but skin lotions, cleaning products, laundry detergents, and perfumes. (2) The list truly goes on and on.
Many of these toxins get stored in our bodies, and if we don’t do something to get them out, we can become unhealthy fast. To release those toxins, a detox is crucial, but you want to do it correctly.
Detoxing naturally
We have videos and articles on how we help our patients with a natural detox. There are tons of people trying to sell teas and other products to make a fast buck. Sadly, these don’t work and won’t restore your health.
In our practice, we use a 90 Day Cellular Detox that works at the cellular level. It uses three specific phases that prepare you for detox, removes toxins at the cellular level, and clears those deeper neurotoxins from your brain. We include a food plan that helps you achieve optimal results. A detox alone won’t provide lasting results if you continue eating unhealthy foods. The cellular detox is not some internet gimmick promising great results after a few sips of some magical potion. This is a natural detoxification process using specific formulations that improve your body’s ability to heal and maintain energy as designed.
Following the program as we have laid out will help you to experience virtually no detox symptoms. However, we want to provide you with common signs of detox and how to reduce or completely avoid all detox symptoms.
Common Detox Symptoms (And How to Avoid Them)
Flu-like symptoms
Many times the first complaint is feeling achy. This is extremely common and a natural reaction to removing processed foods. During a detox, you change your diet to natural eating and don’t eat processed foods that are filled with unhealthy ingredients that can cause an addiction. People who are addicted to substances experience this when they stop using drugs, and it’s not so different when you change how you eat. (3)
The good news is this is a normal part of detoxing your body and breaking those sugar addictions. It doesn’t typically last longer than a few days, and it may cause some frustration, but you can do it! Keep pushing forward, and by day five or six, you should start improving and noticing a difference in how you feel.
Fatigue
Another common symptom when going through a detox is fatigue. When you cut out sugar, flour, and other unhealthy carbs, your body will notice. At first, it won’t like it, and you can expect some rebelling. One way to help this process is to eat more healthy fats, like avocados, nuts, olive oils, and other natural fats that help keep cravings away. (4)
Drinking plenty of water is crucial during a detox. The point of a natural detox is to rid your body of unhealthy toxins, and drinking water helps to flush those toxins out. You must stay hydrated during a natural detox.
Hunger
Hunger is something many people report during detox. Again, when you change anything with your diet and health, your body will notice. You might get cravings and experience some hunger during your first detox. One of the best ways to combat this is to focus on the reasons for detox and remind yourself that it will pass with time. More water can also help, and staying busy provides a great distraction.
Gastrointestinal issues
A cellular detox is not a colon cleanse. It does not cause you to run to the bathroom or feel as though you can’t continue daily life. However, you may go through gastrointestinal changes when changing your foods and using natural supplements to detox your body. That may mean experiencing constipation or diarrhea at some point in the process. (5) These symptoms usually subside in a few days and are generally nothing to worry about.
Exercise is also a great way to keep your gut in check and remove toxins from your body. We always recommend exercise, but it’s also great for a detox.
Skin issues
As you detox, your skin may break out into rashes and acne. As your body eliminates toxins, this is natural and can occur from chemicals you use on your skin. One natural replacement we recommend using is organic tallow instead of harmful skin creams and lotions. Your skin will feel amazing and you’ll feel good about using something natural that won’t harm your body.
Bonus: Natural Substitutes for a Healthier Home
One of the best ways to keep toxins from your body is to replace dangerous products with natural items. You can clean your home with a few inexpensive ingredients that won’t harm your health and are so easy to use.
Some of the household cleaning products you should keep in your home are:
Baking soda
Distilled vinegar
Borax
Washing soda
Castile soap
Spray bottles
Wool balls
These can be mixed with essential oils and will clean clothes, floors, countertops, and other areas in the home. You can add various essential oils, depending on your needs and preferences.
These products are also typically cheaper than buying chemicals filled with toxins.
Why You Should Start a Detox Today
Toxicity can affect the body through different symptoms and diseases. Below are symptoms that may indicate you need to perform a cellular detox:
Chronic fatigue
Weight gain
Weight loss plateau
Depression
Decrease immune system function
Blood sugar irregularities
Headaches
Chronic fatigue syndrome

What are the benefits of regular interior car cleaning services?
Hey, auto enthusiasts! Come on, admit it—your cars aren't just a means of getting from point A to point B. They are part and parcel of your private space, where one spends a whole lot of time daily. But when was the last time you showed some care to your car's interior?
A clean and well-maintained interior, apart from the aesthetic appeal, will influence the physical and mental health of an individual. Indeed, a well-cleared interior can help eradicate allergens and bacteria; it also allows for the maximum resale value of the vehicle. The list of interior car cleaning service advantages is endless.
In this article, we delve into the merits of regular interior car cleaning, exploring how it can help improve your driving experience, protect your health, increase your car's resale value, and much more!

Five Persuasive Reasons Why It’s Necessary To Get Interior Car Cleaning Services
One of the common auto detailing services people don’t pay much attention to is interior car cleaning. But the usual car wash provides many advantages, which can upgrade your ride quality, preserve the value of your vehicle, and even improve your health condition.
1. Preservation of Upholstery: Extend the Life of Your Car Interior
First of all, the preservation of the upholstery of the car is one of the benefits linked with interior detailing. Cleaning minimizes the attack by dust, dirt, and stains on your vehicle’s interior trims, fabrics, colors, and other materials resulting in such problems as wear and tearing, fading of colors, and formation of creases. This way the beauty of your car is maintained throughout and expensive replacements are traced.
2. Elimination of Ours: Breathe Easy on Roads
Another important advantage is eradicating smell. For instance, in hospitals, we need to get rid of unpleasant smells that are the result of diseases affecting our bodies, such as flu, among others. Interior car cleaning services help you get rid of foul smells, stains, and stench, making the interior of the car healthy for a driver.
Car cleaning specialists eliminate such bacteria that cause bad odor and then apply odorless products so your car should have an agreeable scent. This makes you heave a sigh knowing you are safe with your car and also free from any bad odors.
3. Enhance Driving Safety: Clear View Safe Drive
A clean interior also leads to improved safety or driving because the interior cannot obstruct the view of the road. You have the full forward vision that enables you to avoid obstacles, a less glaring effect that makes your eyes comfortable and fast. Clean glasses ensure you control your vehicle without causing an accident.
4. Increase Resale Value: Boost Your Car’s Worth
We all want our cars to have a good-looking interior, which will improve the value of your vehicle each time you consider selling it. To some extent, better looks, longer lasting, and more confident buyers lead to a better trade-in value.
5. Protection Against Environmental Damage: Sheild Your Interior
Finally, cleaning the interior of your car can preserve the interior of your vehicle from effects such as sun fading, UV ray effects, moisture effects, and effects of extreme temperatures. In this way, you will secure your investment and get rid of dirt that accumulates over the years on the interior parts of the car.
These are the five essential benefits of regular cleaning of your car interior. It not only helps to keep your car looking clean but it is good for your health and safety.
How do new car technologies impact car cleaning methods?
The car cleaning industry is in the process of experiencing a revolution due to innovation that is revolutionizing the way car cleaning services are delivered to clients as well as the environmental impacts.
Popular ways of washing cars have come and gone, as we now have modern ways of cleaning cars. Current sophisticated cleaning agents as well as complex high-tech polishing processes predominate. One example can be ceramic coating; it has revolutionized car detailing with its unbeatable ability to protect the car surface and shine.
But that's not all. Current car washing facilities are now adopting the use of sensors, robotics, and artificial intelligence in the washing processes. This innovation ensures:
Less arbitrary work for unique washing.
Particularly policies that help organizations conserve water and energy resources for the greater benefit of the environment.
